A focus is also placed on developing positive coping skills and healthy thought patterns.

A goal-oriented and person-centered approach that seeks to engage individuals, increase internal motivation and bring about behavioral change. Treatment options are discussed openly, individuals are asked to contribute their own ideas and solutions regarding their care. Open dialogue is used to explore ambivalence towards treatment or recovery and support belief in oneself.
MEDITATION & MUSIC THERAPY
Music therapy is offered as a form of psychotherapy incorporating creative self-expression for those who might find it difficult to verbalize their thoughts and feelings.
DIDACTIC GROUP THERAPY
A form of group therapy that allows individuals to process and discuss their current recovery goals. Didactic Therapy also includes educational components using evidenced based lectures, videos, and community support speakers. These methods have been proven to build group trust and foster a healthy recovery environment.
A form of psychotherapy that addresses the addiction in the context of the entire family and works to restore the health of both the individual, as well as family members and those closest to them. Depending on the desired level of involvement individual, group and family sessions are offered.
